Day 1

So, today we took interstate 81 south through Pennsylvania... which was rather uneventful apart from some crazy people on the road. We zipped through part of Maryland, and then such a small part of West Virginia you would miss it if you blinked. We decided to get off the highway and see some scenery, and took the Skyline Drive (beautiful road that curves its way through the Appalachian Mountains) through Shenandoah National Park. We bought our pass that gets us into any national park, so YAY!  We got about 10 feet from a deer just hanging out at one of the scenic overlooks, he was pretty chill. We have stopped for the night in Waynesboro, VA. Tomorrow morning we are heading down the Blue Ridge Parkway, then into Tennessee and onto Nashville!
